Skip the classes—show your skills! The Laser Cutter Test Out is a quick option to get certified to use the laser cutters for experienced members who don’t need full instruction. Sign up if you have

• Recent laser cutter experience (must be within 3 years)
• Past project experience (3+ projects or 3+ weeks of consistent use)
• Light burn experience (not required but recommended)

Here’s how to get started:

1) Ask yourself, Do you have the knowledge needed to comfortably work with our laser cutters? During the test out you will be asked a range of questions regarding safe and friendly studio practices.

We’re committed to a safe, clean, and user-friendly studio. If we determine you don’t have the required knowledge or experience, your Test Out fee can be applied to a Laser Cutter Certification.

2) Pay for this Test Out
Class credits do not apply to test outs.

Use the Discord #laser-cutting channel and ping the @laser-team (preferred), or email contact@seattlemakers.org to schedule a test-out.
