Interested in sewing outdoor gear? Or want to learn how to use the straight stitch industrial sewing machine? Want to make a rad fanny pack? You’re in luck – sew yourself a sweet fanny pack with cordura and learn how to use the Juki 5500-N industrial machine all at once!

This course will guide you through the construction of this fanny pack from Sailrite!

What you get to take home:  Your fanny pack!

Whom it’s for: Anyone aged 11+ (youth 11-16 must have a guardian present) with sewing experience. You need to have completed at least 3 sewing projects in order to sign up for this course. The instructor will reach out after you sign up to ensure you have the necessary background.

What we’ll provide: Sewing machines, thread, scissors, pins, fabric & other notions. Everything you need to make the fanny pack (~$20 worth of supplies)!

What to bring: A can-do attitude!
