Robotics 101: Multitasking

Discover the power of multitasking in robotics with Arduino! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to manage multiple inputs and outputs simultaneously, controlling sensors and motors to perform complex tasks. We’ll explore different strategies to handle various events at once, using the versatile Arduino platform.

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to deepen your robotics knowledge, you’ll code and experiment with practical solutions for efficient multitasking in real-world robotics. By the end of the class, you’ll have the skills to monitor sensors and control motors with confidence, unlocking new possibilities for your projects!

Pre-requisites: Arduino 101 or similar experience (please email contact@seattlemakers.org for pre-approval of instructor).

Ages: 14+. Ages 14-17 require a guardian present.

What you should bring: You may bring your own computer with the the Arduino Software (IDE) already installed.

What we will provide: You will be given an Arduino microcontroller, sensors, motors, and other components to borrow during class. We have laptops to borrow, as well.
