4. Coating screen with emulsion
5. Exposing artwork onto screen
6. Washing out design
7. Preparing screen for printing
8. Printing design
9. Curing print

The workshop with consist of two consecutive nights:

Wednesday Night – Overview, Preparation & Practice

We’ll start the workshop by talking through the steps outlined above, including what materials you’ll need and what to consider at each step of the process. Then we’ll prepare our screens for the next night and practice printing using a premade design.

Thursday Night – Printing!

Part two is where we’ll put our ideas into practice. After learning how to burn and prepare your screen, you’ll print your own design yourself!

What to Bring

For the first night, you don’t need to bring anything.
On Thursday, bring your design printed on a transparency and a shirt to print on.
We’ll talk through both these steps beforehand so don’t worry too much about it.
