The Lathe Test Out is an option for those who are already have significant experience with a wood lathe or have recently taken a comprehensive beginner class.  You will show you are proficient with a lathe, discuss your experience and project plans, and we will go over any policies that are specific to our space.

Once you pass the test out, you are certified to use the Rikon 70-100 wood lathe during Seattle Makers open hours.
