Miscellaneous Materials: Electronics

Use this store page to purchase materials from the Electronics Lab.

To adjust the price of this item, add it to your cart and then increase the quantity (qty) associated with this cart item.

The Electronics Lab aims to eliminate all barriers to your creativity. Part of this is providing an expansive library of components and materials available for immediate use. But it takes money and time to maintain. Please abide by these guidelines for using and purchasing materials so this space can function effectively and sustainably.

  1. Borrowing Items

You may freely borrow any electronics to use or experiment with in the lab. Put anything you don’t use back where it came from when you’re done.

  1. Purchasing Materials

If an item finds a permanent home in your project, please donate the standard retail price/MSRP to Seattle Makers via Venmo or this page. It’s OK to use the lowest price you can find online for it.

  1. Consumables

Wire, solder, passive components like resistors and capacitors, and other small parts are included in your membership’s consumables budget. Their cost is generally negligible.
