Band Saw, Jointer, Planer – Dimensioning Wood Workshop

Are you interested in learning to dimension your own wood?

During this certification, we will learn to dimension lumber with the following tools:

Band saw – Resaw rough-cut lumber to desired thickness

Jointer – create a flat face and a flat edge, perpendicular at 90 degrees to each other

Planer – create your second flat face and plane to desired thickness

Note:  The table saw generally cuts the final flat edge to finish all 4 sides of your lumber.  This is a separate certification.

Whom it’s for: Anyone 13 y/o and up with guardian

Equipment:  Laguna Band Saw, JET Jointer, DeWalt Planer

What to bring: Closed toe shoes and pants.
