We’re hosting Electronics Open Studio on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays every month at Seattle Makers! A few hours twice a month to jump into projects, workshop designs, and troubleshoot issues with an equipped space and a knowledgeable tinkerer.
Whatever level from total beginner to advanced, we are here to help you! The open studio will run for 2 hours but feel free to drop in for just a question or the whole time. The Electronics Lab is open all hours that the makerspace is open, so you can work on projects any time – Open Studio is for getting help and making friends.
Who it’s for:
Members ages 8+. Youth ages 8-17 must have a guardian present.
– Beginners who want to build confidence through exploration
– Tinkerers who want access to tools, components, and expert advice
– Hackers developing prototypes or experimenting with new designs
– Makers who have hit a roadblock in their project
– Anyone curious about electronics or what they can do with it!
What we’ll provide:
– An equipped electronics lab with the biggest selection of components and parts west of Vetco
– Hobbyist-level testing and soldering equipment
– Ample table space
– Much-needed social interaction

Cost: Free for members. No purchase of Studio Time is needed to use the Electronics Lab. Please purchase parts you are taking home as per our policy posted in the space.
