Sewing Skills – Zipper Confidence

This class will improve your confidence sewing with zippers. Pre-requisite is Sewing 101 or ability to thread and operate a domestic machine. We will focus on separating and non-separating zippers by making two different gear bags. The first bag is a pencil pouch, while the second is a boxed, rectangular bag. All supplies will be provided, including sewing machine, fabric, thread, and zippers. Feel free to bring any favorite personal supplies such as fabric scissors, thread snips, clips or pins.

Note: If the link to purchase a spot in the class says “Restricted,” it means you don’t yet have the necessary background information on file at Seattle Makers. Reach out to the instructor at howdyalexgreene@gmail.com if you’ve taken the necessary course or have the required experience  and we will get your profile updated!

Please sign up at least 24 hours in advance. To check availability within 24 hours of this event’s start time, call (206) 659-1726
