Embroidery Machine – Advanced Part 1

This 2-part course will go over more advanced techniques on the Embroidery machine.

In part 1, you will learn all the steps on making a Seattle Makers keychain patch using a pre-made file, and how to deal with common issues that can happen when running complex embroidery files. We will also talk about techniques on how to finish a patch to achieve a polished final look.

In part 2, we will go over the Inkstitch plugin for Inkscape, which is a free alternative to Hatch! You will learn how to set up Inkscape to make embroidery designs, and learn how to create a patch from any custom image. Familiarity with the basics of Inkscape (or similar vector editing software) is required for this course.
