Dykes With Drills Workshop

Have you been looking for a comfortable and inclusive environment to learn some useful woodworking skills? Look no further! We are thrilled to host Dykes with Drills as they present their Introduction to Tools 101 Workshop! In this workshop you will learn tool use and safety, team building, and have fun doing it!

Please note: this is a skill building workshop. Participants will work in small groups to design and build something that will allow them to practice the new skills they learned. Individuals will not be making an item to take home with them.

What you’ll do:  You will get trained on the miter saw (chopsaw), jig saw, and power drills to begin your woodworking adventure. Following your hands on training, you will form small groups, where you will collaborate to take a design from conceptualization to completion as you find solutions to everyday problems.

What you’ll get: What we promise you will get from this event is tool training, team building, confidence and fun using woodworking tools.

Whom it’s for:  this event is open to anyone 18+, no woodworking experience necessary!
