Come out and design with us – every other Friday is CAD day at Seattle Makers!
Work on your own project, collaborate with others who come, or attempt the challenge of the day!
The computer lab will be set up for Fusion 360 collaboration and Lead CAD Instructor Shana will be available for any CAD questions you have. Using a different software? A lot of CAD concepts apply across softwares and Shana is already familiar with SolidWorks, OnShape, and SketchUp, so bring your laptop and come by!
This is a great class to do after taking our CAD 101 class. You can continue on with the design started in the class, or stretch your new skills and try something new.
Whatever level from total beginner to advanced, we are here to help you. The meetup will run for 2 hours but feel free to drop in for just a question or the whole time.
Whom it’s for: Anyone aged 8+ (youth 8-17 must have a guardian present). No prior experience necessary.
What we’ll provide: The computer lab with Fusion 360 software. Water (cold drinks and snacks available for purchase)
What to have ready for class: Their autodesk account info or their personal computer if using other software. And any questions you have about your design or CAD design generally.
