Get hands-on with clay in this four-week beginner series! You’ll learn the foundations of hand building, including glazing and firing.

Over the course of the series, you’ll create your own ceramic piece from start to finish. After learning to basic hand-building techniques, your work will be bisque fired. Then you’ll return to glaze your pieces, choosing from a range of colors. We’ll fire them one final time, and you’ll go home with finished ceramics made entirely by you.

No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and be ready to get a little muddy!

What you will create: A fully finished, glazed and fired ceramic piece crafted entirely by you.

Whom it’s for: Anyone aged 8+ (youth 8-17 must have a guardian present). No experience necessary.

What we’ll provide: We will provide all materials needed including clay, small tools, and glaze. We will fire your piece in our kiln.

What to bring:  Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and non-slip shoes.
