Woodshop 101 Certification is required prior to using the woodshop.

Working on a project and want a bit of backup? Come build during Guided Studio time! You’ll have access to the woodshop to work independently, with a seasoned Maketeer nearby to answer questions, offer guidance, and help you problem-solve. It’s a great way to gain confidence, try something new, or just have a safety-savvy buddy in the shop while you work.

Whom it’s for: Seattle Makers members who are certified to use the Woodshop and any tools with a blade and a motor that they plan on using. See seattlemakers.org/events for upcoming certification classes.
