We were thrilled (THRILLED!) to participate in Techstars Startup Week (part of Seattle Startup Week hosted by Comcast Washington) yesterday. We showcased our 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC milling to a curious and lively crowd.
We hung out with Andrew and Adam Powers from Key Tech Labs. This brilliant and creative team is visiting classrooms and communities with their mobile makerspace, bringing tools and machines to kids who are creating and inventing the future. We are so moved by what they’re up to.
We spoke with Taelore and Kenny from Hack Nation about hosting events at Seattle Makers. We also chatted with Shawn from Native Girls Code, an organization of young people who are changing the world with their beautiful mission: “using the foundation of nature for innovation”. We are inspired by this group and can’t wait to have them come visit our makerspace!
Thanks to Chris, Zohoni, Ann, Shawn, Steve, Paul, and many others who stopped by our booth. And a huge thank you to Comcast Washington for hosting! We look forward to seeing you at Seattle Makers!
