Woodshop 101 Certification is required prior to using the woodshop

Working on a project and want a bit of backup? Come build during Guided Studio time! You’ll have access to the woodshop to work independently, with a seasoned Maketeer nearby to answer questions, offer guidance, and help you problem-solve. It’s a great way to gain confidence, try something new, or just have a safety-savvy buddy in the shop while you work.

Whom it’s for: Seattle Makers members who are certified to use the Woodshop and any tools with a blade and a motor that they plan on using. See seattlemakers.org/events for upcoming certification classes.

FYI for May 22 only — there are home games for the Salmon Bay FC and Ballard FC at the nearby Interbay Stadium. Street parking can fill quickly. Please plan for additional time if arriving by car, as our lot may also reach capacity before noon.
