Sustainability Meetup: Permaculture

Ever wondered how to go green on a small scale? On a large scale? Where does one even start? Introducing a new Meetup series that talks about Sustainability and going green featuring speaker Matt Powers, an experienced teacher, family guy, author, consultant, farmer, seed saver, plant breeder, musician, blogger, & permaculturist. Matt speaks at conferences, colleges, schools, and events about permaculture and education.
Alongside the talk there will be bug snacks provided! Our Member, Ether, (also the host of the Sustainability series) cooks with the ultimate sustainable protein: Bugs! Next in the series will be “Indoor Gardening,” but the rest of the series is open to ideas! Lastly, please tell the host if you are allergic to dust mites or shellfish before consuming any of the bug snacks as there is a chance you will be allergic.
What to bring: Ideas on topics about sustainability you would like to see in future meetups, or ideas on something to make, and an open mind.
Important to know:  Please tell the host if you are allergic to dust mites or shellfish before consuming any of the bug snacks as there is a chance you will be allergic.
