Most creatives keep a journal to record ideas and images. This workshop will teach multimedia techniques to take your journaling skills to the next level. Using collage, printing, textiles and painting, we’ll create multi-layered pages of beautiful art. You’ll come away with new skills that you can practice whoever your sketchbook takes you.
Level: No experience necessary, all levels welcome.

Instructor bio: Gabrielle Abbott is an award winning, international artist known for her large chalk murals. The six years she spent in Europe studying renaissance painting and contemporary art taught her how to combine ancient traditions with modern ideas. Currently, she’s based in Seattle and teaches fine arts at Antioch University. In addition to her art career, Gabrielle is a yoga teacher and practitioner of Vipassana meditation. Her goal is to nurture the artist within each of her students so they can bring the creative spark fully into all areas of their lives.
